On August 26, 1996, at approximately 1:55 a.m., officers from the Portland Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 4404 N Kerby Avenue in Portland, Oregon. Upon arrival, they were informed by the resident of the address that there was a victim inside the residence who appeared to be deceased.
