In the early morning hours of October 13, 1999, the sound of gunshots echoed through the 6200 block of N. Kerby Avenue in Portland, Oregon. At approximately 4 a.m., concerned residents placed calls to 911 to report the disturbance. Responding Portland Police Officers arrived at the scene to find a white Mazda 323 parked at the curb.
