In a quiet Beaverton, Oregon, apartment complex, a devastating scene unfolded on October 5, 2016, ending the life of 6-year-old Lakalo Vergara Enfield. The young Asian boy, along with his 8-year-old sister, Lehua Elaysea Enfield, were found deceased in what authorities would later describe as a tragic murder-suicide. The Greenway Elementary School students were discovered at the Redwood Apartments after a female relative placed a distressed 911 call.
