In the quiet, early morning hours of Saturday, October 20, 2018, a tragic and violent series of events unfolded in a northeast Bend, Oregon neighborhood, culminating in the death of 33-year-old Kyle Scott Adams, a White male. The incident, which also resulted in the death of his neighbor, began to unfold around 1:23 a.m. when residents on Northeast Sierra Drive were startled by the sound of gunshots.
