In the quiet, early morning hours of October 9, 2022, the tranquil life of Leonard Raymond Peverieri, a 70-year-old male and prominent real estate developer in Bend, Oregon, came to a violent end. He was discovered shot to death in the driveway of his residence on Los Serranos Drive. The initial call to the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office came in at approximately 5:30 AM, reporting a deceased male.
