In the summer of 2016, a promising life was tragically cut short in a quiet Jefferson County subdivision in Charles Town, West Virginia. On July 19, 21-year-old Ryan Mumaw, a White/Caucasian male, was killed in a violent encounter that stemmed from a robbery plot. A graduate of Washington High School's Class of 2013 and a student at West Virginia University, his death sent shockwaves through the community and left his family devastated.
