On a cold day in Eskdale, West Virginia, the life of Joey Rose, a 37-year-old Caucasian male, came to a violent end. On February 2, 2018, Rose was fatally shot, an event that would lead to a swift investigation and the arrest of a suspect. The man charged in connection with Rose's death was 27-year-old Gary Anderson Murphy.
