Shane Michael Bush, a 26-year-old White/Caucasian male from Cabin Creek, West Virginia, died on Christmas morning, December 25, 2022, after a family argument turned deadly inside a residence along Decota Road in the Eskdale area of Kanawha County. What should have been a holiday morning became the scene of a fatal shooting just before 8 a.m., when Kanawha County deputies were called to the home and found that Bush had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
