On September 25, 2018, Luka Grabb, a 32-year-old resident of Fairmont, West Virginia, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred when James Vincent, who was the President of the Fairmont chapter of the Pagans Motorcycle Club at the time, fired multiple shots at Grabb. Specifically, Vincent shot Grabb four times, targeting his lower limbs, which ultimately led to Grabb's death.
