In the winter of 2020, the life of 36-year-old Brian Ruffin, a Black male from Beckley, West Virginia, was tragically cut short. On December 22nd, Ruffin was shot in an incident that would ultimately lead to his death and a subsequent homicide investigation by the Beckley Police Department.
