On a late Sunday afternoon, August 7, 2022, the life of 37-year-old Ermal Mullins of Fort Gay, West Virginia, came to an abrupt and violent end. Responding to a call of a shooting at a residence on Lost Creek Road, West Virginia State Police discovered Mullins deceased on the front porch. The cause of death was a fatal gunshot wound.
