James M. Beetle Bailey

On a summer day in August of 1975, James M. "Beetle" Bailey, a 32-year-old White/Caucasian male, was riding his motorcycle westward on Interstate 80. It was August 14th, and he was in the company of two friends, Paul "Chip" Philemon, 27, and Richard Vesey, 31.
