In the quiet town of Glenwood, Iowa, a promising young life was tragically cut short on the evening of September 17, 2016. Kathryn Lauren "Katie" Weber-Kuhl, an 18-year-old Caucasian female, was fatally shot outside of the assisted-living center where she was employed. A recent graduate of Glenwood High School, she was just beginning her studies at Iowa Western Community College and worked as a med aid at Linnwood Estates.
