In early January of 2019, the life of 35-year-old Steven Paul Becker, a White male, was tragically cut short. His body was discovered in the basement of a residence on Church Street in Waterloo on January 11, 2019. An autopsy later confirmed that he had died on January 9 as a result of a homicide.

The investigation into his death quickly led to a suspect. Kyle M. Roider, who was 30 years old at the time, was arrested and subsequently charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery ...
