On a crisp December day in 2021, the life of Nathan Allen Sharpnack, a 37-year-old Caucasian male from Winterset, Iowa, was tragically cut short. It was Saturday, December 4th, the opening day of Iowa's regular shotgun deer season, and Sharpnack was with a large group of about 20 hunters in the Red Rock Wildlife Management Area, north of Knoxville.
