On a tragic morning in Sandy, Utah, on August 19, 2004, the life of 49-year-old Marydell Lupinacci was cut short. A female resident of the Coppergate Apartments for the preceding two months, she was confronted by her estranged husband as she left for work. Words were exchanged before the encounter turned fatal.
