Rebecca Siwale, a 47-year-old Black woman, was tragically killed on June 8, 2024, in her Sandy, Utah home. The evening of her death, an argument between Rebecca and her 57-year-old husband, Stanley Siwale, led to him instructing their three children, aged between 11 and 17, to leave the house. Shortly after the children were outside, they heard multiple "explosion type sounds." Police were called to the residence near 2100 East and 9700 South at approximately 9:45 p.m.
