David L Easley

David L. Easley, age 26, was fatally shot on May 21, 2016, in the 7000 block of South Carpenter Street in Chicago, Illinois. Easley was walking in the Englewood neighborhood, an area that has long been troubled by gang violence and systemic issues, when he was gunned down. A suspect, Christian Sivels, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to Easley's killing. Sivels has pleaded not guilty and awaits trial in Cook County Criminal Court.
