On September 28, 2018, at approximately 6:24 a.m., 47-year-old Wanyun Judd was fatally shot in her home at 54 East Harrison Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah. The incident occurred when an unknown assailant fired at least one round from a firearm that struck Judd while she was sleeping in her bed. Officers responded promptly to the scene, having heard the gunshots, and transported Judd to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
