In the early morning hours of September 28, 2018, a tragedy unfolded in Salt Lake City that claimed the life of Wanyun Judd, a 47-year-old Asian woman. Just before 6:25 a.m., while inside her residence at 54 E. Harrison Ave., Judd was fatally wounded by at least one gunshot. Officers in the vicinity heard the shots and were able to respond to the scene quickly. Judd was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
