On January 26, 1957, John M. Rosenthal, a pharmacist from Hartford, Connecticut, was fatally shot twice in the chest. His murder was part of a series of violent crimes committed by Joseph "Mad Dog" Taborsky and his accomplice, Arthur "Meatball" Culombe, collectively known as the "Mad Dog Killings."
