In the summer of 1975, a violent outburst shattered the tranquility of the Sandy Hook village in Newtown, Connecticut, culminating in the death of 23-year-old Frank D'Amato. On July 31st, D'Amato, a male member of the Bridgeport chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, was fatally shot during a fierce shootout at the Sandy Hook Hotel.
