On a spring evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of a young Black/African American man, 22-year-old Juvontee Tinsley, was cut short by gunfire. On May 9, 2015, at approximately 9 p.m., Tinsley was shot and killed outside a residence on Ohio Avenue.
