In the pre-dawn hours of a Sunday in June, the life of 37-year-old Miguel Angel Ramos, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On June 6, 2021, in New Haven, Connecticut, Ramos was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 4:19 a.m. on Springside Avenue, where responding police officers discovered him.
Emergency medical services and the New Haven Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, but Ramos was pronounced deceased right there on the street.
