On the night of November 6, 2021, Raheem Lynch, a 24-year-old male from Bridgeport, Connecticut, was out celebrating a joyous occasion—he had just secured a new job. He and his friends were at the Mystique nightclub on Main Street, enjoying the evening. Shortly before 2 a.m., as the club was closing, Lynch and other patrons began to leave.
