On the night of August 1, 2022, 23-year-old Brian Evans, known affectionately as "B Gotti," was fatally shot in Hartford, Connecticut. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. near the intersection of Brook and Winter Streets in the city's Clay Arsenal neighborhood. Hartford police responded to ShotSpotter alerts and found Evans unresponsive at the scene. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
