On February 4, 2006, James Walter 'Jim' Sell, a 63-year-old male, was tragically killed in the line of duty in Gassville, Arkansas. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Sell had a long and dedicated career in law enforcement. He served with the Blytheville Police Department for over 30 years, retiring as a captain. In 2003, he joined the Gassville Police Department as a part-time officer, continuing his commitment to public service.
