Michael Z. Steele, a 48-year-old Caucasian male, was a man with a decorated past, having served his country in Operation Desert Storm and later as a dedicated law enforcement officer in Arkansas. His life, however, came to a sudden and violent end in the early morning hours of February 23, 2014, in the quiet community of Bigelow, Arkansas.
