On a late summer evening in Alexander, Arkansas, the sounds of a social gathering were abruptly silenced by gunfire. It was August 22, 2014, when Patricia Tucker, a 54-year-old female, was tragically killed. She was at a get-together with approximately 20 other people at a home near Vine Street and Highway 111 when the violence erupted.
According to witnesses, two men entered the residence around 11:45 p.m.
and, after inquiring about a specific individual, they began firing into the crowd. The hail of bullets struck Tucker and another individual, 40-year-old Joe Thomas Dickinson Jr. of Little Rock, fatally wounding them both. Miraculously, no one else at the gathering reported any injuries.
