In the early hours of Christmas morning, a violent home invasion in Scott, Arkansas, shattered the peace of the holiday, leaving 49-year-old Arlin Wayne Nugent dead. The male victim was shot and killed shortly before 12:30 a.m. when two men forced their way into a residence on Johnson Road and opened fire on the people inside.
