In the late spring of May 23, 2023, a grim discovery was made on State Highway 161, just south of Scott, Arkansas. There, authorities found 19-year-old LaMarion Gilliam, a male from North Little Rock, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel rushed him to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in a desperate attempt to save his life, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he succumbed to them at the hospital.
