On June 2, 2020, 36-year-old Lindsey Nicole Downing, a White female from Paragould, Arkansas, was found deceased in her home on Greene County Road 714. A family member discovered her and her husband, 37-year-old James Downing, and alerted the authorities. Investigators with the Greene County Sheriff's Office determined that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.
