On the evening of December 26, 2020, a 36-year-old Black / African American man named Brandon Simpson was fatally shot in Little Rock, Arkansas. The incident unfolded as Simpson and his wife were driving to a store. While on the road, they encountered a vehicle that began following them closely. In an attempt to lose the tailing car, Simpson made a series of turns, but the other vehicle, a silver Chevrolet Impala, persisted in its pursuit.
