On November 27, 2016, Delvon Weston, an 18-year-old male, was shot and killed while sitting in a parked vehicle in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred on the 8800 block of South Marshfield Avenue when someone fired shots from a dark-colored SUV, tragically taking his life. This shooting happened during a particularly violent Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago, which saw multiple fatal shootings and dozens of injuries.
