Genoria Williams Mosby, a 73-year-old Black/African American woman, pulled up to her home at 121 South 5th Street in Helena-West Helena on the night of May 4, 2021. Police had been called to the neighborhood around 8:55 p.m. after reports of gunfire; no victims were found at that time. By sunrise the next morning, officers discovered Mosby’s body outside her residence.
