In the early morning hours of June 23, 2021, a 17-year-old white male named Noah Hunter Brittain was fatally shot by a Lonoke County Sheriff's deputy in Arkansas. Brittain, who had been working on the transmission of his truck with a friend, was taking the vehicle for a test drive when he was pulled over by Sergeant Michael Davis. The traffic stop occurred around 3 a.m. outside an auto repair shop south of Cabot.
