David McClure, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot multiple times in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago on December 25, 2016. Officers responded to a call at approximately 9:54 a.m. and discovered McClure suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of the area. His death was one of several violent incidents that occurred in Chicago during the Christmas weekend, which saw multiple shootings across the city.
