On a tragic night in Phoenix, Arizona, the promising life of 17-year-old Rachelle Carpenter, a White female, was cut short. On October 23, 2005, Carpenter was attending a house party on West White Feather Lane. By all accounts, she was a focused and driven young woman, a valedictorian of her high school class at Glendale Mountain Ridge High School, and was pursuing a degree in criminal justice at Glendale Community College with aspirations of becoming a prosecutor.
