On December 16, 2024, at approximately 7:13 p.m., the Lamesa Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of South Avenue G. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim who was promptly transported to Medical Arts Hospital by Emergency Medical Services.
