Jessie Vasquez, a 20-year-old Hispanic male from Lamesa, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2020. Jessie was shot multiple times during a physical altercation at a party attended by 20 to 30 people. The incident occurred at 511 S. Akron Ave in Lamesa. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Jessie was pronounced dead at the scene. The police were alerted to the shooting through two 911 calls, the first reporting a shooting and the second indicating that someone might be dead.
