On November 22, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Douglas Waters, a 32-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was fatally shot during a home invasion at his residence in the 700 block of Wren Walk. First responders found Waters inside his home with multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations by the Akron Police Department revealed that two suspects forcibly entered Waters' home, confronted him, and shot him multiple times bef ...
