On November 26, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., 31-year-old Nick Roach was discovered outside his residence at 438 S. Kenilworth Ave. in Lima, Ohio. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen and was unresponsive upon discovery. Despite immediate medical attention, Roach was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center.

In the aftermath of the incident, law enforcement officials identified 43-year-old Javin Mayo as a person of interest. May ...
