On December 17, 2024, 32-year-old Nicholas "Nick" Mizikar was fatally shot while seated in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle on Saratoga Avenue in Cleveland's Old Brooklyn neighborhood. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m., and Mizikar was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect, identified as 28-year-old William Abney, was considered armed and dangerous. A manhunt ensued, and on December 19, U.S. Marshals located Abney in Cleveland. During the confrontation, Abney died by su ...
