On December 21, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., 25-year-old Tauvghn McPherson was fatally shot near Public Square in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The incident occurred at 230 Euclid Avenue, where McPherson became involved in a physical altercation with two other individuals. During the confrontation, McPherson reportedly produced a firearm, leading to an exchange of gunfire. Emergency responders arrived promptly and transported McPherson to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
