On November 18, 2024, 19-year-old Aminah Michelle Guy was found deceased in a Cary, North Carolina, residence, along with her boyfriend, 19-year-old Xavier Neil Holton, and his mother, 54-year-old Erica Alyse Holton. All three victims had sustained gunshot wounds. The discovery was made by Erica Holton's husband, Shawn Certain, who arrived home to find his wife and Aminah unresponsive.
