On November 25, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m., Greensboro police responded to a report of a body found near Yanceyville Road, close to Kingfisher Trail. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 18-year-old Samad T. Johnson Jr., who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. His body was located down an embankment off the side of the road.
