Jose Merced Huerta-Morales, a 36-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead inside his home in Browns Summit, North Carolina, on December 28, 2014. The discovery was made by his nephew, who had come to the house to help feed the chickens and rabbits that Huerta-Morales raised. When the nephew couldn't get Huerta-Morales to the door, he saw him lying on the floor inside the house.
