On February 9, 2017, 17-year-old Alvin Stoll was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Jefferson Park neighborhood. The incident occurred when a dark-colored vehicle approached Stoll and a friend while they were standing in an alley, and gunfire erupted from inside the vehicle. Stoll was fatally struck, adding to the city's escalating gun violence at the time. He was remembered for his sense of humor, love of music, and kind heart.
