On December 3, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Henderson Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Vance Street in Henderson, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Ja’neta Teiona Wynn suffering from a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to Maria Parham Health, where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
