On January 6, 2024, at approximately 4:32 p.m., the Vance County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check request at 1064 Abbott Road in Henderson, North Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered three individuals deceased inside the residence from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as 49-year-old Danielle Williams and her 25-year-old son, Tre'von Hargrove, both residents of the home, and 47-year-old Juan Black of Louisburg.
