Death by Force

In the early morning hours of February 26, 2024, a discovery was made in the parking lot of Waterville Junior High School that brought a sad conclusion to a young man's troubled life. Police responded to a call around 4:30 a.m. about an individual slumped over the steering wheel of a school bus. Inside, they found the body of 24-year-old Anthony River Engelhardt, a White / Caucasian male from Naples, Maine. An autopsy later confirmed that he had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
